LHR to Malaga approximately 2 hours 40 minutes flying time.

The apartment is approximately 44km from Malaga airport - about 35 - 45 minutes in a car.

A taxi from the airport costs about 40 euro

Car Hire: is recommended and is fairly cheap in Spain. You can get the best rates on the internet at DoYouSpain.com or carjet.co.uk A five door car with air conditioning costs about 110.00 Euro per week.

The apartment is easy to find as it is a straight run along the motorway.

Driving directions

  • Exit the airport road and turn right at the signs for Algeciras/Cadiz
  • Take the E15/N340 motorway/dual carriageway which will lead you directly to Carib Playa which is situated off the N340.
  • The motorway crosses the mountains bypassing Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola and joins the main coast dual carriageway. There is a new toll road, which you do not take.
  • As the road starts to descent keep to the inside lanes following the signs N340 Fuengirola/Algeciras. Small signs on the right indicate every KM counting down as you head towards the resort. The road follows the sea passing the village of La Cala and urbanization Miraflores on the right and Cabo Pino on the left.
  • After about 4km take note of the signs for Marbella on the right hand side counting down from "Marbella 14km" etc. At "Marbella 12km" get ready to turn right at "Las Chapas Cambio de Sentido" sign (be careful to take the correct exit as there are signs indicating that Las Chapas is coming up with small turns before the actual turn off. El Rancho restaurant is on the left side of the road) Note you will see the words "Cambio de Sentido" a lot along the motorway. What this actually means in that you can cross the motorway at this exit (therefore if you make a mistake simply find the next exit with "Cambio de Sentido" and turn around and come back).
  • Once you exit the motorway/dual carriageway, cross over the motorway via the flyover you will then come to a roundabout. Take the last exit off the roundabout (you enter at 6 exit and 9 on the clock) El Rancho restaurant will be on the left take a right turn here (you will see a sign for "Dr Jan Bergers" on a fence at this turn) Keep going for about 50 meters and on the right hand side you will see a three story building painted white and yellow with green railings. You will pass the underground garage entrance on the right, beyond this you will see a green pedestrian entrance gate where we will arrange for you to be met if required.
